I’m delighted to be able to announce that I have won one silver award and three bronze awards in the International Epson Pano Awards for 2012. This is a competition specifically for panoramic images and this year it attracted nearly 4,000 entries from 893 photographers in 55 countries around the world. That means the four images that I entered in to the Open category ( for professional photographers) all gained recognition.
The image that won silver, a shot of the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland, actually placed 31st and was the only British entry that placed in the top 50 in the natural landscapes category.
I’m delighted with this result as this is the first time I’ve entered this prestigious competition. I’m already working on material for next year!
To celebrate this success, I will be producing a signed limited edition print (limited to 60 prints in the edition) sized at 24″ x 12″ for a special price of £75 including postage. Please email me directly if you are interested. Each print will come with a certificate of authenticity and will be hand printed by me on a Giclee printer. The paper used will be a fine art Baryta paper and it will be ideal for framing, as a signature piece for your home or office.
You can view the winning entries at the Epson Pano Awards Site.
